INTEGRA Smile recommend to wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20-22 hours per day, removing them only to eat and clean your teeth and aligners. This will guarantee the best results!
The great benefit of Invisalign is that unlike a traditional orthodontics treatment, you have little to no food restrictions. The aligners can be removed to eat, meaning you can enjoy any type of food without to worry! You won’t have to avoid sticky or hard food; you can eat anything you want. You will just have to remove your tray beforehand.
Invisalign® clear aligners are made with a technology called SmartTrack. Most of our patients who grind their teeth are allowed to wear the Invisalign aligners. Your Smile Designer at INTEGRA can help you understand better how to take care of your aligners. Even though grinding your teeth can wear down your aligners faster, this is not an issue as you usually have to wear them for two weeks or so.

Our Smile designers also recommend to have a good oral hygiene and brushing your teeth after each meal to avoid food debris on your Invisalign aligners.
